The Purrfect Home Office Upgrade

We needed something a little custom to fit into our home office so that the cats (our ginger boy in particular) could get up to the standing desks. The ComfyPet team went above and beyond with our modified Katattack Dallas tower! It is now the perfect place to lounge all day long, and offers easy access to the desktop to curl up in front of the keyboard. The tower itself is incredibly solid and sturdy - the build quality cannot be understated! It feels like a piece of furniture that will last many years, and was worth every penny.

Artistic, solid, and square

This is the second comfypet cat tree I have purchased (my other is a Chicago). Unlike the Chicago that Ipurchased in a pet store, I purchased this tree online. I like this tree because it looks like a piece of artwork (multi-storey house with a chimney). This tree has perches that are safe for my older cats and will allow them to access the top of one of my bookshelves safely. I really liked being able to choose the colour and sisal rather than carpet on the posts.

Hi. I now have my Ragdoll kitten home. Autumn is 10 weeks old. She simply loves exploring her tree house. Loves to sleep in the house, sit on top of the chimney.
It’s a beautiful piece of furniture. Very safe.
Regards Autumn (meow) and Christine

Abosultely Amazing Company

I am so happy my research into a quality, sturdy NZ made cat tree led me to ComfyPet. My 13 yo kitty abosolutely loves her new Katattack Dallas to take a break from her massive and playful Irish wolfhound x doggie brother. Communication and delivery from the team was so good and on point. Can't recommend enough.

Our pussy cats love it

This is the first cat tree we bought - having bought in the past only scratching posts. The quality is amazing. It is very sturdy and, like with the scratching posts, it arrives fully assembled. The service was great, as always. We were after particular colours - and that was kindly accommodated. We also ordered it quite close to Xmas - and it was delivered very quickly.
Our pussy cats love it. They seem to prefer using the posts to climb up, rather than the steps. The house itself was thoroughly sniffed, but so far it has not been used much. That might change once colder weather is here. The only thing that happened - and I for one was unprepared for - was that both of them loved the rooftop spot so much, that for the first 2-3 days they were both getting quite territorial over who gets to use that spot. Thankfully, they have now come to an arrangement and are both happy to take turns sleeping up the top.

A big hit

The cats love this ... indeed one was trying to climb on it before I got the plastic off! It's incredibly solid and stable which helps when they leap on and off it with aplomb! The older cat says thanks too as it means the other two hand out up high and leave her the ground.

Catastic!

Our kittens love it. The carpeted poles are like kitten highways to the top of the tree and they use them more than the steps. They mainly hang out on top of the roof of the house including on top of the chimney. We are really happy with this quality product that is solid and made from quality materials. Highly recommend.

The Best Cat Towers!

We have a boarding cattery and purchased the Kat Attack Dallas and Chicago cat towers. They are the very best you can get. The quality is second to none - they are sturdy and don't wobble at all, the carpet is really good quality and after 6 months of daily use by a large number of cats that give the towers a really good scratching, they still look like they're brand new. The cats love them and provide hours of entertainment as well as a great sleeping area which comfortably fits 2 cats in. Comfy Pet also made some adaptations to the style for us and their service is amazing!

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

Triboard
The cornerstone of our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings of our Cat Trees, constructed from 100% sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine. This material not only meets rigorous quality and environmental standards, but its stability offers unparalleled load-bearing and screw-holding capabilities. While it may be more costly, we view this as an essential investment in the longevity of our Cat Trees, especially given the current high demand.

Pine Poles
Our upright poles, the backbone of our Cat Trees, are built from solid 100mm thick New Zealand pine. The carpeting on these poles is firmly glued and stapled, allowing for longevity and easy recovery even after your cat has extensively used the surface. This feature ensures that our products are both sustainable and extendable over time.

Carpet
Our choice of carpet material prioritises your cat's safety and comfort. We exclusively use cut pile carpets, which are less likely to catch your cat's claws compared to loop pile varieties. Many of the high-quality carpets we utilise are locally sourced from New Zealand. For example, the Cavalier Bremworth carpet, which can cost upwards of $300 per linear meter, is extensively used in our products. In fact, our popular New Yorker model requires more than 2.25 linear meters of this carpet.

Sisal
Our top-quality, maritime-grade Sisal is carefully hand-wound onto our uprights, secured with industrial staples for maximum durability. Crafted to withstand even the most ambitious feline with a fierce spirit, our Sisal proves to be the strongest available on the market. So, for cats that channel their inner tiger, we say: let the scratching games begin!

All your questions answered

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.
