King of the castle

Our cat loves his new KatAttack tower. We got the Paris model and had a few things modified. He loves to sleep on the top level and many times a day he attacks both the carpeted pole and the sisal one.

The construction is solid as a rock, and the quality of the build is exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for more, and Ollie certainly approves.

When dealing with the company over the phone, and in person at the warehouse, we were warmly received and attended to.

We highly recommend this company and their cat towers!!

My young man loves being up high and he just sits and purrs up top. I think he thinks he's on Pride Rock.
And with two platforms there's room for two, when he allows Mum on it.
We love this tower!!

Perfect addition to my Chicago

I got this as my cats during zoomie time were launching off my Chicago tree onto my bed with a great thud. Once I got this they have loved climbing all over it and it's easy transition onto the trees. My two cats now have their own tree to sleep on and watch the things going on outside. They are very impressed with it. It fits my bedroom just right. Very prompt delivery. BIG THANKs.

Second cat tree we’be bought - awesome

You cannot compare these amazing, sturdy, high quality cat trees with the cheap junk out there. Replaced a $150 tree with two KatAttack trees and could not be happier. The trees are very sturdy, look great around the house and our three cats are in absolute paradise! The Dallas tree for older cats is perfect for our 14 year old baby. Thank you and will buy from you again!

PERFECT.....

Searching for something for my cat to climb which was sturdy and safe, I'd visited shops and many sites online without success until I learnt of Comfypets which were also local. From the time I made a call to them direct, I found the whole service professional and super helpful from Shane who took the initial call to Daniel who followed up and delivered to my home. I was unsure how my cat Thomas would view this new arrival, and after stopping in his tracks when he first saw it, he had soon climbed in the cubby hole......thank you comfy pets for such perfect service......so now as he gets used to katAttack Paris I consider a second one, maybe Chicago.....Kathy and Thomas at Patumahoe

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

Triboard
The cornerstone of our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings of our Cat Trees, constructed from 100% sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine. This material not only meets rigorous quality and environmental standards, but its stability offers unparalleled load-bearing and screw-holding capabilities. While it may be more costly, we view this as an essential investment in the longevity of our Cat Trees, especially given the current high demand.

Pine Poles
Our upright poles, the backbone of our Cat Trees, are built from solid 100mm thick New Zealand pine. The carpeting on these poles is firmly glued and stapled, allowing for longevity and easy recovery even after your cat has extensively used the surface. This feature ensures that our products are both sustainable and extendable over time.

Carpet
Our choice of carpet material prioritises your cat's safety and comfort. We exclusively use cut pile carpets, which are less likely to catch your cat's claws compared to loop pile varieties. Many of the high-quality carpets we utilise are locally sourced from New Zealand. For example, the Cavalier Bremworth carpet, which can cost upwards of $300 per linear meter, is extensively used in our products. In fact, our popular New Yorker model requires more than 2.25 linear meters of this carpet.

Sisal
Our top-quality, maritime-grade Sisal is carefully hand-wound onto our uprights, secured with industrial staples for maximum durability. Crafted to withstand even the most ambitious feline with a fierce spirit, our Sisal proves to be the strongest available on the market. So, for cats that channel their inner tiger, we say: let the scratching games begin!

All your questions answered

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.
