Best view in the house!

Totally impressed with our Chicago tower! Well, the felines are certainly even more impressed than the hoomans! Solid, sturdy, balanced and incredibly well made. Now these guys also have spectacular views into the sports grounds over the back fence! The tunnel shall be up next!

Happy Place

Our guy Felix, loves his Chicago tower, especially the top floor where he snuggles up to the fur strip. This tower is solid, sturdy and doesn't wobble like the cheap ones you can get. Good quality carpet as well. We highly recommend this cat tower.

Safe spot to sleep

We have 2 large and 2 small cats and this has been an amazing Christmas present. They all love it, and it gives them a safe spot away from our 3 year old human child to relax in safety. The only negative is that it is strong enough to hold the child!

Would highly recommend, and wish I hadn’t spend years buying cheap scratching posts. This is definitely worth spending the money on.

Only extra thing I would have liked would be a large eye hook to be able to attach dangling cat toys on to for the cats to play with but I can easily add.

A sure winner with the cats

We replaced our cat tower with the KatAttack Chicago as our Maine coon broke the last one. I was so pleasantly surprised that it was made to order and I got to choose the colours. The tower looks amazing. Super sturdy and fits our 2 Maine Coons and Ragdoll on it. The cats love it and we love it as well!

A Fussy Feline’s Best Friend

My Maine Coon absolutely adores her Chicago cat tower! She has never taken to anything like she has her tower, and now I can’t get her off of it!! She climbs right up to the top no troubles and feels secure. She loves to play with the hanging toy or just observe her kingdom from a height. I would highly recommend KatAttack products to anyone with a hefty fur baby in search of the puuurfect cat furniture addition!

Candi's Castle

Candi has only just recently been introduced to her KatAttack Chicago Cat Tree. She loves it and is interactive at every level... Being a 2yr old Bengal and on the athletic side I thought it best to invest in a quality well structured piece. So glad I did! Am exceptionally pleased with the workmanship involved, the making thereof and of course the step by step service, right down to the freighter delivering straight to my Car at work. Hat's off to the team involved.

Absolutely loving our KatAttack Chicago!

Our cat Daisy loves it too... This has become her favorite place to be in the house...
I can't praise enough the quality of the service and the quality of the product. Very friendly and helpful customer service and super fast delivery. We love the look of the final product which is quite elegant and seems sturdy enough to stand the test of time.
We were a bit unsure about getting the black backrest fur at first as there wasn't many pictures of it, but very happy to have chosen it in the end. Thank you for providing such a great product with and easy, friendly, helpful and overall great service. :-)

The best purchase ever

This cat tree was an investment for us because of its price, but we are so glad we got it! Our kittens absolutely love it ❤ they love sun bathing on it and scratching the post, because of this we didn't have typical new kitten problems of our furniture and curtains being destroyed. The cat tree is also so sturdy, it be perfect for when our ragdoll kittens grow into their full size. I would totally recommend anyone hesitating to purchase this cat tree!

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

Triboard
The cornerstone of our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings of our Cat Trees, constructed from 100% sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine. This material not only meets rigorous quality and environmental standards, but its stability offers unparalleled load-bearing and screw-holding capabilities. While it may be more costly, we view this as an essential investment in the longevity of our Cat Trees, especially given the current high demand.

Pine Poles
Our upright poles, the backbone of our Cat Trees, are built from solid 100mm thick New Zealand pine. The carpeting on these poles is firmly glued and stapled, allowing for longevity and easy recovery even after your cat has extensively used the surface. This feature ensures that our products are both sustainable and extendable over time.

Carpet
Our choice of carpet material prioritises your cat's safety and comfort. We exclusively use cut pile carpets, which are less likely to catch your cat's claws compared to loop pile varieties. Many of the high-quality carpets we utilise are locally sourced from New Zealand. For example, the Cavalier Bremworth carpet, which can cost upwards of $300 per linear meter, is extensively used in our products. In fact, our popular New Yorker model requires more than 2.25 linear meters of this carpet.

Sisal
Our top-quality, maritime-grade Sisal is carefully hand-wound onto our uprights, secured with industrial staples for maximum durability. Crafted to withstand even the most ambitious feline with a fierce spirit, our Sisal proves to be the strongest available on the market. So, for cats that channel their inner tiger, we say: let the scratching games begin!

All your questions answered

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.
