Happy cat!!

From the minute the Manhatten arrived our ragdoll Mystee owned it! Still in the plastic wrapping she climbed it to the top and that is still her favourite spot. She spends so much of her life playing and sleeping on it, plus she adores the little mouse! The workmanship on this cat tree is faultless. Absolutely solid and perfect. It will be around for many years. Thank you ComfyPet!!!

Brilliant, sturdy tower!

We bought the Manhattan with wider house and sisal, our cats took to it instantly and so pleased with how good it looks. 1yo birman will run up and down the tower and no signs of wobbling or tipping over. This is gonna last us many, many years and was such a good investment. We have 2 towers from ComfyPet and 3 scratching posts, absolutely recommend their products!

Happy cats for years to come

After much research I brought the Manhatten with the wider cubby house for my two adult cats. Very high quality wood and all materials and very heavy. The pads are definately big enough for adult cats and a very worthwhile investment .Service and comms were exceptional, responsive with great attention to the order and build.
This cat tree will be around for years. !

Kittens approve!

From the first contact to delivery, the service was flawless. It looks great in my home. But I had to wait, and wait (longest 3 months ever) for my kittens to arrive, and they did, two days ago. They took to it within an hour of being in the house, and now it’s the favourite napping place after their play.
Thank you Comfy Pet

My wee boy loves his new cat tree. He spends most of his naps on it - which means all the time. 😹 I am quite pleased with the wonderful service and superb craftsmanship. I also wanted to thank Mandy for her help and patience regarding the placement of the dangly toy. ☺️

Purrfect

Exactly what I needed for my cat Gracie, she's taken to it so well and loving it. My other two cats had taken over the towers she used to have and she needed a space just for her. This is working out better than I thought it would initially. I'm so pleased I went ahead with this. Fits in the room really well too.

Modified Manhatten

Exactly what we wanted. Cats love it and it looks really good in the entrance way. Cats can lie there looking out the front door or snooze when tired.

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

Triboard
The cornerstone of our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings of our Cat Trees, constructed from 100% sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine. This material not only meets rigorous quality and environmental standards, but its stability offers unparalleled load-bearing and screw-holding capabilities. While it may be more costly, we view this as an essential investment in the longevity of our Cat Trees, especially given the current high demand.

Pine Poles
Our upright poles, the backbone of our Cat Trees, are built from solid 100mm thick New Zealand pine. The carpeting on these poles is firmly glued and stapled, allowing for longevity and easy recovery even after your cat has extensively used the surface. This feature ensures that our products are both sustainable and extendable over time.

Carpet
Our choice of carpet material prioritises your cat's safety and comfort. We exclusively use cut pile carpets, which are less likely to catch your cat's claws compared to loop pile varieties. Many of the high-quality carpets we utilise are locally sourced from New Zealand. For example, the Cavalier Bremworth carpet, which can cost upwards of $300 per linear meter, is extensively used in our products. In fact, our popular New Yorker model requires more than 2.25 linear meters of this carpet.

Sisal
Our top-quality, maritime-grade Sisal is carefully hand-wound onto our uprights, secured with industrial staples for maximum durability. Crafted to withstand even the most ambitious feline with a fierce spirit, our Sisal proves to be the strongest available on the market. So, for cats that channel their inner tiger, we say: let the scratching games begin!

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.
