THE RAW MATERIALS WE SOURCE

Triboard- The key to us being able to give our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings. It's made from 100 percent sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine and adheres to strict quality and environmental guidelines. Over and above anything else available, the stable core provides superior load-bearing and screw-holding advantages. Although more pricey, we believe it is necessary for our Cat Trees.

Pine Poles - Upright Poles Our circular uprights are made of solid New Zealand pine that is 100 millimetres thick, and we glue and staple our carpet to them. Because of this, even after your cat has completely damaged the carpet, we can still recover it.

Carpet- We only use carpets with a cut pile (loop pile carpets might snag your cat's claws), and the majority of the quality carpets we use are created in New Zealand. For instance, the cost of a Cavalier Bremworth carpet can reach more than $300 per linear metre, but each New Yorker requires more than 2.25 linear metres of carpeting.

Sisal- Our Sisal is of maritime grade, and it is hand-wound onto our uprights using industrial staples. This Sisal is there for the cat that thinks it's a tiger and has an attitude; we believe ours to be the toughest on the market, so bring it on!!!!

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.

Just amazing quality product and great service.

KatAttack Scratch posts are absolutely superior to any of the flimsy crap you get from Kmart or online. Beautiful and sturdy, our cat loves them and I'm always surprised by how quickly they get delivered. We got the steps to help our elderly cat get on and off the bed and she has immediately taken to them. I can't recommend these products enough.

Perfect for young and old

Placed at the end of our bed and all cats are using, from kitten to senior. Wish had bought sooner.

Steps loved by BOTH cats

We bought this to help out one of our cats who has developed some arthritis in her back hips, and both our cats love them. One of them just likes to climb them and sit on the top step, waiting to be adored, and the one who actually has arthritis thinks they’re super!

V1 Steps - love them!

I bought these steps to replace some plastic K-Mart steps that were noisy during the night when the (then) kittens were using them and always getting knocked over during rambunctious play sessions. The KatAttack V1 Steps were the perfect solution. Very sturdy, just the right height and bonus of being another scratching surface for the cats. The kittens are now just about one and don't 'need' the steps to get onto the bed but they are still in daily use and look great at the end of the bed. The steps are fully apporved by Soren & Gryphon. As you can see from the photo, Soren loves the steps so much that he perches on them when I have lifted them up for vacuuming! These steps have been a great addition and I fully expect them to be in use when the kittens become old man cats! I also have a Paihia, New Yorker and a tall Sierra scratching post in my KatAttack arsenal - all high quality, long lasting products and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or buy again ( I have my eye on the new Vegas but need some serious saving for that one!).

Great quality!

Our cat loves to sit in front of the window but her cheap Kmart tower was falling into pieces. Most cat towers are way too big for our window seat so we went for these steps! Great quality, quick delivery and for a 5kg cat plenty of space to lay on top! Super sturdy, even for hanging off it 😂!

KatAttack Steps V1 (for end of bed)

These are excellent. It is the second set of steps that I have bought - so now are old cat has access to two beds. Chloe loves it and used it straight away. It is so reassuring to have her get up and down without stressing her body. We have purchased many compfy pet products including a three level scratching post which is now over ten years old and still as strong and sturdy as when it was purchased. Cat beds, igloo and the purr pad. You can never go wrong when choosing a compfy pet product.

Great wee steps

At first my cats just ignored it then my big boy who is the youngest decided it was great, the other one still is unsure about it. Bought it mainly for my aging toy dog, so all is good. It's not to big to get in the way when making the bed, 10 /10.

Fantastic service and great product!

Originally bought V2. The V2 steps were a good height but too small and close together for our old lady cat. So I checked with comfy pet to see if V1 could be modified (so the steps were the same height as V2). They advised super quickly this could be done and completed the steps and couriered them very quickly. Our old lady cat loves it and now can get up and down easily. V2 steps probably more suitable for a smaller cat or kitten. I would definitely buy comfy pet products again.
