• Our KA800 New Yorker is running a close second in sales to the KA700 Manhattan - in fact many of our Manhattan customers have upgraded to the New Yorker after seeing an improvement of their cats agility and muscular tone from climbing all over these Cat Trees every day.  Ideal for several cats at once this model has plenty of space for each cat to play or rest as they please.  Because we build these units here in NZ we are able to make design modifacations or custom make one to suit your setup. We use only the best materials available to build the New Yorker and are proud to provide a 10 x year Structural Warranty for your piece of mind.  As a bonus we provide either a Frenzy or Tiger Teaser Wand with your investment of a New Yorker Cat Tree.

• Triboard - Base and Landings  - Triboard is the key to us being able to offer our 10 year Structural Warranty. It is engineered from 100% sustainable NZ Radiata pine and made in accordance with strict quality and environmental standards [ISO, FSC] It is 3 layered wood panel sandwiched between an MDF outer skin giving it very high resilience and greater stiffness than any similar product. The stable core gives superb load bearing and screw holding advantages over anything else available.  More expensive but we think essential for our Cat Tree’s.  We use more than 5.5 metres of Triboard for every New Yorker. 
  Pine Poles - Upright Poles - Our round uprights are solid NZ Pine which we glue & staple our carpet to.  There is 5 metres of 90mm pine in this Cat Tree 
  Carpet - We source only Cut Pile carpets (Loop pile will catch your cat’s claws) and mostly use NZ made quality carpets. For example a Cavalier Bremworth carpet can cost over $200.00 a lineal metre and we use over 2.25 lineal metres in every New Yorker.   
  Sisal - Our Sisal is marine quality  and is hand wound onto our uprights using industrial glue and is there for the cat that thinks it’s a tiger and has an attitude—we think ours is the toughest on the market so bring it on!!!!  Can custom make with more Sisal if required.
