Best Ever!

This has been an absolute life saver for our carpet. We couldn’t break our kittens bad behaviour of clawing the carpet until we got this scratch pad. We have so many sisal and cardboard scratches but he is clearly a carpet boy as this has been a huge success! My only regret is I didn’t get it earlier.

Good spot for the sun

Bought the Pheonix pad specially for Toby lie on in the sun. He loves it :)
PS this is not your typical mat, it is a solid piece of timber. It won't lift when your cat scratches and makes for a good wee bed on the floor.

Best Scratchers I’ve found

My cat loved his 2 Katattack trees so when I needed another for a different room, didn’t think twice to order another. Robust with edges finished nicely - cat took to it immediately.

Dog approved

So far my cat has not touched the scratch pad, HOWEVER I'd still consider it worth buying! When I unpacked it my dog went absolutely nuts and started digging into the board like crazy, biting the corners, just having a blast with it. See video.

Great pad

Good quality & shipped quickly.
Purchased for our new mid-life adoption because he keeps scratching the rug. Unfortunately he still hasn't realised the pad is for scratching, but we're working on it. Not going to waste tho, both new guy & our elderly guy love to sit on it.

Best scratcher!

As soon as I put this on the ground it became Grey cwats best toy, best scratcher, best snoozer, best cuddler...she just loves it. Its now her spot. And with a happy Grey cwat is a happy mum , thanks so much.

Perfect!

Super sturdy and blends in nicely with the rest of the carpet. We tried every scratcher imaginable for our cat and he still preferred the carpet. As soon as I took it out of the box he started scratching it right away. I would highly recommend this for horizontal scratchers who like scratching on carpet. It's also worth mentioning that he likes cat nip so the cat nip infusion was really useful. Will definitely be getting more

Big!

Well these were bigger than I expected! (Not a bad thing) the one who scratches the carpet that we brought these for has not scratched them, he thinks they’re to sleep on. The other cat thankfully understands and scratches it

phoenix scratcher

I was surprised by how solid this was. I was expecting just a piece if mat, I even had some screws ready to screw it down expecting it would lift if the cat scratched it. Very solid, no need for screws, and the sizing was accurate and fits right where I intended. Sadly he hasn't used it yet, but he does not use this spot anyway, I bought the scratcher hoping to encourage him over there. Time will tell..

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

Triboard
The cornerstone of our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings of our Cat Trees, constructed from 100% sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine. This material not only meets rigorous quality and environmental standards, but its stability offers unparalleled load-bearing and screw-holding capabilities. While it may be more costly, we view this as an essential investment in the longevity of our Cat Trees, especially given the current high demand.

Pine Poles
Our upright poles, the backbone of our Cat Trees, are built from solid 100mm thick New Zealand pine. The carpeting on these poles is firmly glued and stapled, allowing for longevity and easy recovery even after your cat has extensively used the surface. This feature ensures that our products are both sustainable and extendable over time.

Carpet
Our choice of carpet material prioritises your cat's safety and comfort. We exclusively use cut pile carpets, which are less likely to catch your cat's claws compared to loop pile varieties. Many of the high-quality carpets we utilise are locally sourced from New Zealand. For example, the Cavalier Bremworth carpet, which can cost upwards of $300 per linear meter, is extensively used in our products. In fact, our popular New Yorker model requires more than 2.25 linear meters of this carpet.

Sisal
Our top-quality, maritime-grade Sisal is carefully hand-wound onto our uprights, secured with industrial staples for maximum durability. Crafted to withstand even the most ambitious feline with a fierce spirit, our Sisal proves to be the strongest available on the market. So, for cats that channel their inner tiger, we say: let the scratching games begin!

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.
